The Rumcake Factory Mobile Kitchen creates some of the best Louisiana style food recipes in town. Husband-wife owners and dynamic-duo Larry and Elena Robinson began catering in 2002 with Larry cooking the food he grew up with in Louisiana.

 

The rum cake, his mother's recipe, took on a life of its own and remains the signature item at the couple's new mobile kitchen on wheels. Being featured in the Miami New Times, The Rumcake Factory offers a mix of Caribbean cooking with Southern recipe menu that makes it the go-to place for fine Louisiana specialties and, of course, rum cake. The soft, moist, and flavorful cake is just unique and cannot be copied.

 

Acknowledged the strength of their rum cake, Elena and Larry wish to scale it to wholesale so they started their entrepreneur dream with StartUP FIU Food.
